Meet the Fit Kids Healthy Kids Team


Cassidy Nicholls

Cassidy is the program coordinator of Fit Kids Healthy Kids. She graduated with a Kinesiology degree from York University in Toronto where she played 5 years of university field hockey. In her free time she loves staying active by walking her dog Margie and playing any kind of sport! Cassidy believes that every kid should have the opportunity to have fun while engaging in physical activity

Breanne Syvret

Breanne is the assistant program coordinator of Fit Kids Healthy Kids. She has a Kinesiology degree from the University of Winnipeg and is finishing her degree in Education this spring. She is trained in HIGH FIVE, Run Jump Throw, ACM, and is a learning facilitator for Fundamental Movement Skills. Breanne strives to create an environment in which children can feel confident and competent in their skills, so they have the motivation to engage in physical activity. She believes physical activity should be a fun and exciting part of everyday life.

Larah Bruce

Larah Bruce is one of the program facilitators at Fit Kids Healthy Kids. She recently graduated from the University of Winnipeg with her Bachelor of Science, majoring in Kinesiology.  She enjoys staying active in her spare time playing different sports such as volleyball and running. Larah enjoys working at Fit Kids Healthy Kids because not only do you get to play cool games all day with awesome kids but you're also teaching the importance of physical literacy in a fun and active way!

Jordie Moryl

Hi there, my name is Jordie and I am a recent graduate from the University of Manitoba, majoring in recreation management and community development. In my spare time I enjoy training for triathlon, playing soccer, and spending quality time with friends and family. I am thrilled to join the Fit Kids team as a program facilitator and teach young children fun and excited activities while helping them hone their physical literacy skills so that they can be fit and active for life! I am very thankful for the many great coaches that have mentored me throughout the years teaching me fundamental motor skills that have helped me excel in sport, exercise and life. I hope to help the children I work with develop a passion for exercise and have fun during the process! 

 

Taylor Wyatt

Taylor graduated from the University of Winnipeg with a Kinesiology degree in Physical Education. She will be continuing her education in the fall at Chiropractic School in Toronto. In her spare time she likes activities such as Ringette, weight lifting and anything outdoors! Taylor's favourite movies are the Harry Potter series. She is new to the team this year and is very excited to play new games and have tons of fun! 

 

Raeanne Wysocki

Raeanne Wysocki is a facilitator for Fit Kids Healthy Kids, she has been with the program since June, 2017. She is currently a student at the University of Manitoba in the Masters of Occupational Therapy program. Raeanne volunteers with Manitoba Swim Ability and Special Olympics weight lifting competitions. In her spare time she enjoys playing all kinds of sports and being outdoors. Most would say she's a kid at heart; she looks forward to introducing you to new games and having fun together.

Stef Sheard

Stef is currently pursuing her Master's of Physician Assistant Studies degree at the University of Manitoba, She spends most of her spare time being active and outside - rugby, softball and running are some of her favourite pastimes. Stef enjoys engaging the children in fun games while helping them develop lifelong fundamental movement skills and a passion for physical activity.

Jordan Johanson

Jordan is currently enrolled in the Physical Health and Education program at the University of Winnipeg, where he is working towards his degree in Education. In his spare time he enjoys cycling, soccer, volleyball, and hockey. Jordan loves bringing a smile to the kids' faces and he wants everyone to have fun and enkpy learning new skills and games! 

Taylor Tutkaluke

Hi! My name is Taylor and I am currently pursuing a Kinesiology degree at the University of Manitoba. I love helping kids have fun being physically active! You can find me on the ice playing ringette, swimming at my cabin, or instructing fitness classes at the gym. Ask me about some new games you can try today!

Emily McNish

 Emily is a facilitator for the Fit Kids Healthy Kids program. She is an Education student majoring in Kinesiology to become a Physical and Health Education teacher. In her spare time she loves to play recreational sports like ultimate frisbee, volleyball and basketball. She also loves spending time outdoors as well as going to the cabin.
