A simple game for little ones, with very little rules but a lot of throwing and running!
To bring a piece of equipment one at a time over to a target!
Place out all your equipment, whether it is soft balls or beanbags in one area of the room. In an area further away place out your targets, whether it is buckets, hoops taped to the wall, X's taped to the wall, or even leaders holding hula hoops up. Remind all the little ones that they can only bring one equipment at a time over to the target. When you say go, and the little ones run and grab whatever equipment you have placed out, and throw it into or at the target, and then go and run to grab another piece of equipment. Be sure to encourage them to move quickly from one side of the room to the other. Once the equipment pile is running low, a leader can put back some balls or beanbags for the children to continue throwing.
Be sure the you space all the equipment out to avoid head collisions, especially with younger children. Give continuous reminders for the children to run with their heads up and eyes forward. Have enough targets that the children have enough room to throw without interfering with another child's space. Always use soft equipment for younger children.
You can change the space in-between the equipment pile and the targets, whether is is small or large to increase or decrease the amount the children run. Also allow for younger children to throw closer to the targets, but encourage older children to throw further back.
Once you have played this a few times with running, try a new fundamental movement skill like jumping to the target or galloping. Change what the targets are, be creative!
