The Bean Game

Game Description:
Children practice their rhythm and dancing skills in this fun-filled game!
Objective:
Teaching kids to practice their rhythm and dancing skills, by offering them a creative platform to do so.
Game Rules:
The children start out by moving quietly around the room either walking or jogging to the music. The group leader/nominated child calls out: - French Bean, Jumping Bean, Mr. Bean, Broad Bean, Jelly Bean, Beans on Toast, Baked Bean, String Bean, Human Bean, Chili Bean (Brr Brr Brr), Runner Bean, etc. The children can dance and groove to the music by reacting to the different names called out and make up different jump stretches with accompanying chants, etc.
Saftey Considerations:
The children should keep to their own space so they are not running into each other.
Adaptations (optional):
By playing faster paced songs it encourages the children to speed up their dancing and keep up with the tempo of the music!
